My 21 month old grandson is namedWoodstock.
Yup, I had an opportunity to attend back in 1969, but would have missed work...stupid me! Gave 2 younger boys a ride...they had tickets for us 3...didn't need them. Changed the course of my life. 3 great unforgettable days(really)! Nice! We just paid $9,000 for 4 tickets to go to Desert Trip Indio the theme there however isn't 3 days of peace and music, it's how to rip people off and make more money. Tin soldiers and Nixon coming... We're finally on our way. You know what they say - if you remember the Sixties - you weren't there! You were born just a bit too late Sue. I was 11 and in foster care so I wasnt allowed to go out of thr coutu much less thr state, but my foster brother got to go and he bought me the album for Christmas#. i wanted to go so bad, but my dad told me i couldnt i said i'll run away he told me if i do keep right on running, well i figure i'll stay home ..... lol. Farrrr out.....Man!!!!!🎸🎤😉👍Also at the 1969 ROCK&ROLL Revival in Toronto ... Lennon & Ono , Doors, Chicago, Cat Mother , Alice Cooper etc , etc....Where's the music now??!! I would have loved to have gone, I had a major problem though....

Review Snoopy And Woodstock Sunflower You Are My Sunshine Tee
I was born 10 years too late.. On the other hand I have been trying to track down a decent dvd set and cd set of the festival complete with introductions etc.... just can't seem to find much about at all. It's amazing that even now, after all these years, my biggest regret in life was that I had an opportunity to go toWoodstock but chose instead to work for a colleague who said he was sick. I learned later that he was out partying and I still get angry every time I think about it. I was there with the other 10 million people who said they were there. I have read in several places there is no evidence of a birth. But to tell you the truth,i am over my hippie days.but i love all of the musicians and there acts.but i am over it.when i went to see geoff tate in markham park, in florida april 22016.In my heart i new it was over. I had a ticket. Couldn't go. Was 16. Not allowed. My boyfriend at the time and three friends went. Didn't even get to keep the ticket! I had no luck making concerts in the 60's I had to pass on The Beatles at the Boston Garden in 64.

My dad thought i was too young. I was 12. The tix were $4. Hendrix....especially Star Spangled Banner. How such a little man could stand on a stage and belt that out, mesmerising and silencing the huge crowds. Janis,Jim , Santana was wild first time hearing him the best show , yet I loved it all no one special . Wish it was still like those days we know what a good time is, peace , caring bunch of people . Never get those days back. Sad to say !! Yet it's the truth!!!! Yeah, me too. I had been in country just four months. Half a world away, few of us even heard of the festival until it made the news on AFVN. my mom wanted to go, my dad told her they shouldn't go because he heard it was going to rain (lol), every august for years she never let him forget it lol. I came upon a child of God
He was walking along the road
And I asked him, where are you going
