I grew up around everyday practitioners with more skill and resolve than 99.9% of the current star studded fighters. If that's what you call them. This is the one time that I feel a person older than me should of been stick in the past because when it comes to fighters. Pound for pound and in their prime the oldies would destroy the new class. Who is confused that the clip isn't anything close to a real fight? No one here. However, Bob wall, Norris and the Olympic level martial artists he trained with and a host of other elite level martial artists he trained with vouching for his ability aside, the first kicks he threw out in the clip are lightning fast. You dont even see the best bantam weight boxers slip jabs that fast. Elijah Myers, fair point. It's hard to compare eras, especially when Lee's focus was refining and expanding the martial arts vocabulary as opposed to competing.

Wow stu, you sure are an expert. How many fights have you been in? In fact, there are many "experts" here it would seem. Fact is, different moves work in different fights, on different fighters. Now, everyone that knows, knows every real fight ends up on the ground, unless both fighters choose to stand up. But in real fights with people that are wanting to destroy the oth r person, those fights must end up on the ground, unless someone gets knocked out first. Bruce took the styles from alot of martial arts that's why he was a bad ass, and wrestling, that's a martial art too, and i think thats why Judo is so effective, on take down and grappling. Judging Bruce Lee from the movies is clearly a mistake.
Those fight scene must be played in slow motion due to the cameras' inability to capture his moves.

In other words, his enemies never see what is coming, never see what truck that hits them, never understand why they suddenly passed out and wake up in an infirmary... So true because a real life Bruce Lee fight would not be theatrically pleasing but very direct and short. He only used film to promote the art. No one was ever more dedicated to the art. He was a martial artist first, actor second. Stu Burns. if the enemy is not good at fighting especially if he young and freezes at the moment, is possible to be kicked the way Bruce Kicking. Bruce Lee is so bad ass that Chuck Norris checks under his bed at night for him! 
Ever wonder why there are a million Chuck Norris jokes but none about Bruce Lee? Because Bruce Lee isn’t a joke! I am a big Chuck Norris fan but even Chuck say that Bruce is the fastest man that he ever seen in the ring. I forget the name of the movie where Chuck played opposite Bruce, but in an interview, Chuck Norris said it was the only time he accepted filming himself being defeated, because he recognized that in real life it would have been plausible against Bruce.
