Ghost always says, "I have a plan". When he says that phase, watch out! Something always backfires. For a gangster, Ghost is not that smart. Because had he been smart. He could have figured out how to go legit without forfeiting his faimly. He literally left his son to the wolves. Not a fan of Ghost! Damien Scott Jones there is a saying in the streets once you have come that far in the drug game the only two ways out is either death or jail. Yaaaaaaaaaaawn. Yeah Tasha so smart, that she had sex to with her best friend leftovers. Smart to jeopardize the family by running away with Shaun who had no plan on how to take care of her and her kids. She so smart that she didn’t even have a plan. Never have. She’s so smart that Silver said . All the characters of Power are loyal to themselves. If Ghost was only thinking about a Ghost. Why would he stay connected to the family? Why set up the woman you love to bail your brother a Tommy out of jail, even though a Tommy was ready to become a snitch. Why save your brother a Tommy when the Asians were ready to smoke Tommy? Why warn your brother that his father can’t be trusted if he’s only thinking about himself. Hmmmm. Dwayne Eison if Ghost was so connected to his family why was there so much infidelity? If he was connected to family why would his wife want leave with another man? Why is his daughter dead? Why does his son despise him? I can tell you why. He uses family when it benefits Ghost. Like when he was in jail. He kept throwing the word "family" around like he was the perfect husband and father.

While in reality before jail most of his time was with Angela. In fact, the reason he went back home was to save Angela from Milan. Not for Tasha, Tariq, Raina, or Yaz, for Angela!
The St Patrick family that existed at the beginning of the show is no more. A father that is truly connected to his family would have a family unit that is together and not destroyed. 
Ghost's family should have been his priority instead of the other woman. Even if you remove Tasha from the equation, Ghost chose Angela over his children. Now one is dead, and the other is getting loss to the street! Connected huh? Angela Phillips I think he knows she loves him and he plays on that. He and Tasha both count on her loyalty because of her love. She is just as pitiful as he is though, wanting to be loved at any cost. She wants to be Tasha, wants to have all that she has but doesn't want to put the work in & she is not about that life. She honestly has no idea what all comes with loving and being with Tommy.

In the end it's sad because Tommy dad knew, Tommy was going to kill him. Teressi thought to run but didn't. Then at the house he had a gun and could have killed Tommy but didn't just like he never snitched nothing on Tommy. Teressi did love his son, he just didn't keep shit real from day one sad scene..  I said that to my hubby, if Teressi would have told Tommy “Look they want me snitch on you but I just wanna spend time with Connie” they could have worked Some stuff out to keep playing the feds until Connie passed. Ruben Vee yeah he knew, he was hoping he didn't. Why you think after Teressi was leaving from seeing Conny he looked at the EXIT sign; he thought about running.
