Lionheart (or "biter cat") tollerates being groomed by Vanilla and sometimes reciprocates. Lionheart also enjoys grooming her 4 humans followed by a nip or two (hence the Cat You Are My Sunshine Tee "biter cat"). Lionheart though, loves to lash out at Blizzard every time she passes. Blizzard growls every time Lionheart is "in the building". The other day though, Lionheart began to groom Blizzard until Blizzard realised who it was. Then the claws came out. Funny things they are!. Two of them do. We have a bonded pair and the less dominant one becomes dominant when he decides his brother needs a bath. It's the only time he stands up to his brother and it's adorable to watch. The older one (not related to the other two) can't be bothered. My cats have a relationship more similar to Simon's Cat and the Kitten. I'm sure my kitten, Onyx, would love to groom my older cat, Terra, but she doesn't really let him because she doesn't like him. Onyx might lick her back a couple times before she swats and hisses at him. We've only had him for 7 months though, hopefully as the years go by, she'll grow to like him and I'll see them groom each other. My Mom had two cats that were stray neighborhood kittens. About same age, raised together. One, black with very slight white on belly. Two, orange tabby mackerel. Both, large structure. They loved grooming each other and sleeping together all if the time. Always together, inside and out. Both passed within a month of each, around 17 y.o. My two cats do not groom each other -- they hardly ever even talk to each other. I describe this as living parallel lives.

Review Cat You Are My Sunshine Tee
The only communication is a quick Hiss if one happens to encounter the other as they round a corner. I've had cats for years and I've never seen this type of relationship. hat is pretty odd. They're usually such communal animals...unless, of course, they outright just hate each other or are fearful of each other...which usually means there's more than just a hiss or two going on. My 17yo female tortie "retired" from mousing, so I brought a male kitten home... the old kitty would catch the little one and angrily groom him, growling the whole time while he purred away! It always ended with him getting too into it and trying to play with her, lol. I've only got the one Cat You Are My Sunshine Tee now, but when Mack (current resident)'s sister was still alive, they definitely groomed each other. He groomed her more than the other way around, though. He grooms me, now, as a substitute cat, I think. Especially my left eyebrow, for some reason. Our two youngest who are brother and sister to it all the time. I have also recently found that they both don't understand catching things. One I found cleaning a mouse the other day and when I came out to see what she was doing she wasn't fussed that it then took it's opportunity to run away.

Ours are too "standoffish" to allow the others to groom them. Salem is ex-feral, and a big wuss. Honey is very short-sighted and has trouble figuring out the others intentions (or occasionally even seeing them until she bumps into them!), and Marie is a little mean kitty!. My baby boy cat (he acts like a baby but he is the oldest) likes grooming Minki, my princess. But she hates when he does because he is to energetic. So usually it's end with a small argument. When Minki takes care of Min, Min is super happy until Minki start to bite him, because she is a little wild (my savage princess).
